Mont La Salle - an amazing Napa valley wedding venue

Last year I found myself photographing a wedding on the western hills high above the Napa valley at a discreet Napa valley wedding venue called Mont La Salle.  I'd never heard of the place, and it was a difficult ride up the mountain (I was riding with the bridal party in a big limo that made everyone car sick...), but it was truly one of the best wedding venues I've ever seen. 

Mont La Salle is an old, rustic and beautiful Catholic church and school. It sits so high up the mountain that the view below is almost as breathtaking as the architecture that surrounds you. 

My clients, Jane and Mike, were married inside the church and held the reception in the courtyard.  (A note - it does get cold up there, even in summer, so be sure to warn guests to bring something warm.)
