Best Wedding Venues - The Outdoor Art Center in Mill Valley, CA

What makes a wedding venue get on my "Best Wedding Venue" list?  Largely, it's because the venue represents the area where the marriage is taking place.  Thus, you'll never see a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons on my list.  It's not because those venues aren't fantastic.  They absolutely are.  It's because those venues often don't provide a sense of their local environment.  In fact, by design, you're supposed to be transported away from your environment when you enter the big, beautiful doors of those gorgeous hotels and resorts.

Wedding locations on my "Best Wedding Venue" blogs are about places that represent.  They embrace their surroundings and let you and your guests know you've chosen one of a handful of unique wedding venues in the San Francisco area.

The Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, CA is absolutely on this list.  It's situated right in the heart of quaint n' quirky Mill Valley - and it's just as quant n' quirky as the town itself.  It's woody interior compliments it's slightly over-run garden in just the right way - making the place feel right at home sitting in the center of this hidden little town that's only minutes from San Francisco. 

The Outdoor Art Club has everything you'd need for a small wedding (likely no more than 125 people - but please check with them).  You can get ready there, and have your ceremony and reception there as well.  Or, you can walk down the street and get married in a towering Redwood grove in Old Mill Park.  Either way, you'll definitely want to stroll the town in your wedding gown after your ceremony to soak up the character (and get some great photos!).

So yep, this place makes my list as one of the best wedding locations in Northern California.  Hope you find it as amazing as I did.
